Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The availability, percentage and duration of positions varies from quarter to quarter, depending on the needs of the department. Positions generally range from 33% to 100% and vary in duration from one quarter to one year. This is a non-tenure track, non-ladder, non-academic senate title.

The earliest potential service period begin date is for Fall Quarter 2023 which typically starts in September. The possibility of reappointment in future years will be dependent upon program needs and job performance. Salary is based on UC's salary scales and depends upon qualifications. Eligibility for benefits such as health insurance is dependent upon the percentage and length of appointment.

CCS is a small undergraduate college designed for self-directed students in the sciences and humanities within a world-class research university. It provides a rigorous, accelerated program facilitating original work for its students who are among the most capable on campus. Over 70% of the Physics majors in the College go on to Ph.D. programs, many at the top Universities in the country. The posting will remain open until March 31, 2024 or until department needs are fulfilled, whichever comes first. If you would like to continue to be considered after that time, and the position is advertised again, you will need to submit a new application.

Please note: The use of a lecturer pool does not guarantee that an open position exists at the time you are applying. If there is no future review date specified, your application may not be considered at this time.
